Willy Johnston is a chartered accountant with over 17 years accounting experience in New Zealand, initially with Spicer & Oppenheim as well as 3 years as a partner with Christmas Gouwland Limited. Willy also has 3 years “Offshore Company & Trust” experience in the Cook Islands & British Virgin Islands. Willy specialises in business structuring, operations management & financial management for an extensive list of clients ranging from professional athletes, to general business entities to Iwi organisations. Willy is a Government appointed trustee of National Pacific Radio Trust & is also a member of the UNITEC Business Advisory Board.
has worked at a senior consultant level for the last 7 years at various Chartered Accounting firms before becoming a director at Johnston Associates. Prior to this he was with Curtis McLean, Wellington. Logan has also managed his own contracting business. Logan’s client base covers sectors such as large national retailers, bars and restaurants, medical practitioners, racing and bloodstock, real estate and general business entities. He has completed a significant number of financing proposals involving bank funding, management buyouts and obtaining funding for working capital on a cash flow basis. Logan has a systems focus and likes to ensure that clients develop the necessary internal processes to grow their business in a managed and structured way. He has a Degree in International Business, a Diploma in Finance and a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting, all from Massey University.
Dean Steele is a Chartered Accountant with 15 years experience with Pricewaterhousecoopers, Grant Thornton & West Yates. Dean completed a Bachelor of Management Studies in Accounting and Strategic Management with First Class Honors. Dean is based in the Johnston Associates Marlborough office and has a varied range of clients in particular vineyards, orchards, café’s, property developers and earth moving contractors. Dean’s area of expertise is hospitality, horticulture, viticulture and aquaculture.
